My Story

Early Life

Joshua Christensen was born in a rural farming community in northern lowa, enjoying a blue-collar upbringing.

Early on he engaged in sports playing baseball, tennis, and wrestling, while also collecting baseball cards and playing video games.

​At age 10, the family moved to Dallas, Texas, where his entrepreneurial spirit first took root as he sought various ways to make money, from mowing yards, selling things at school, and even a paper route.

His first real job came at age 15, where he began sacking groceries.

Career

As Joshua transitioned into adulthood, he dedicated himself to various ventures that defined his career and service. From enlisting in the Navy to Investing in Apartments and authoring several books, he's done a bit of everything.

Over three decades, he amassed experience in building custom homes, flipping houses, bank management, and managing a real estate team in Albuquerque, NM. He expanded his portfolio through buying, remodeling, and investing in real estate, ultimately launching a small property management company.

Eventually, His journey also led him want to share his experience with other through authoring 13 books, including his most recent title "GET UNBROKE" as well as offering multiple white label software products to create digital assets.

Joshua's resilience shone through as he navigated financial adversity during the Great Recession, transforming his setbacks into motivation to educate others.

Giving Back

Joshua is committed to giving back through faith, financial education, and community service.

As a leader in the church, he mentors and supports those in need while participating in charitable initiatives.

Through financial counseling, he helps individuals break free from financial stress by teaching practical money management and investment strategies.

He also volunteers for local causes, mentor young adults, and support community-building projects.

His mission is to empower others with the tools and mindset needed to achieve financial freedom and create lasting impact. True financial freedom is an inside job.

Personal Life

Ultimately, Joshua is committed to a life of faith, financial freedom, and community service, and my greatest source of strength (next to God) comes from my family.

Married for 27 years, with two amazing kids and four grandkids, he's learned that true wealth isn't just financial-it's the legacy we build and the impact we leave behind.

Outside of work, he and his wife love traveling, hiking, camping, and hunting, as well as catching a baseball game or unwinding at our local winery.

At the heart of everything is the love and support of his family, who provide daily reminders that the best investments are the ones we make in the people we care about most.
